MD105 changes

At the Council of Governors meeting held on 23 September 2026, it was resolved that PCC Lion Philip Goodier would cease to hold his MD Officer Roles within MD105, effective from 24 September 2026.

On behalf of Lions Clubs International MD105, I would like to acknowledge and thank Philip for his many years of service to the Multiple District and for his valued contribution to Lions.

Details of appointments to the relevant MD roles will be communicated to you as soon as possible.

Please ensure that your District records, contact lists and any relevant communications are updated accordingly.

Autumn Forum

Our Autumn Forum is taking place on Sunday 11th October at The Alton House Hotel, 57 Normandy Street, Alton, Hants, GU34 1DW. Arrival is from 9.30 with a prompt 10.00 start and we aim to finish by 16.00.

• How can you attract new members?

• How does your club nurture members?

• How can your club keep new members?

• How can you integrate younger-in-service members with longer-in-service members (how to keep everyone happy)?

• What short message could you give prospective members/the public about our organisation?

• How do you link your club identity to the community?

All Lions are welcome to attend this forum which provides a chance to network with other clubs as well as finding out more about our organisation. Our DBS officer will be available during the day to check forms and answer any queries. One of the sessions will be led by Kav Dev who was my Council Chair when I was District Governor and is currently our Multiple District Secretary. She has a wealth of experience which she is more than willing to share.
